Named after the famous Norwegian researcher and adventurer, Thor Heyerdahl, this majestic three-masted topsail schooner has voyaged around the world on countless journeys. First launched in Holland in 1930, it has since been modernized several times. From spring to autumn, the ship sails mainly on the Baltic Sea as a venue for sailing training events. In the winter months, it has repeatedly crossed the Atlantic Ocean and sailed in the Caribbean, especially as a ‘classroom under sail’ with teenage crews.

I have never seen boundaries, but I have heard that they exist in the heads of some people. (Thor Heyerdahl, 1970)
